We take much pride in our class offerings and are always working to add to our schedule and try new things! Below is a description of our current offerings. Any questions, please contact me directly.
Notice: True beginners for any class are asked to please contact the WellFit Center and meet with the instructor privately prior to attempting the class.
Yoga- we offer three levels:
- Beginner Yoga- if you are new and trying yoga for the first time or have only done yoga a few times, then this is the class for you.
- Foundations Yoga- This foundational program is designed for those who want to practice yoga safely, strongly, and effectively. Learning the essential poses and techniques, while experiencing movement and flow. Those with experience benefit most from this class.
- (Vinyasa) Yoga classes are for our intermediate and experienced yogis. These classes can move rapidly or slowly, and the poses are linked together by breath.
Pilates- Four class types make up our Pilates schedule: traditional mat, sculpt utilizing small weights, reformer, and barre. By definition, Pilates is a system of repetitive exercises performed on a mat or other equipment to promote strength, stability, and flexibility. Pilates exercises develop the body through muscular effort that stems from the core.
Circuit Training is an upbeat class meant to work on your cardio, muscular endurance, and some muscular strength utilizing dumbbells, bands, and body weight exercises. This class will give attention to all major postural muscles and trigger a “tabata” like effect activating both fast and slow twitch muscle fibers.
Water Aerobics (Aqua) is a joint-friendly aerobic workout using your body weight, pool noodles, and water dumbbells in our heated pool.
TRX Class uses your body weight in functional movements meant to improve your flexibility, mobility, endurance, and strength using suspension training.
Spin/Cycle is high-energy, good music, fun bike ride in the air conditioning. 😊
Group Stretch uses body weight, bands, and blocks to lengthen your muscles and relax your body after an active day. Caution, you may take a nap at the end of class.
ZUMBA is a Latin-inspired dance class that only requires a smile and happy feet! |
